About DragGap
DragGap is a source-labelled, interactive car acceleration and distance-race comparison project.
What DragGap is for
DragGap turns dry vehicle specifications into an understandable side-by-side race. The physical gap, timing gates and telemetry update from the same deterministic model, allowing people to compare very different cars without pretending the output is an instrumented track test.
Editorial principles
- Separate official records, open supplemental specifications and modelled values.
- Link directly to source documentation and disclose licensing.
- State uncertainty and avoid describing estimates as measured facts.
- Write comparison guides to answer real purchase and enthusiast questions, not to manufacture keyword variants.
Corrections
If a configuration is mismatched, use the manual verified-spec editor in the simulator while the source record is reviewed. The public data manifest records when the downloadable catalogue was generated.
